Rabat FIMA - 2022

FIMA (Festival International de la Mode en Afrique) in Rabat remains my favourite fashion event thus far and not merely becuase they allowed me to open the fashion show with my collection.

In an odd way, it was the first time I felt like I actually belonged in this industry and the audience's reaction to my work during and after the show, including the notice of venerable fashion icons lifted my spirits immensely.

This wasn't simply a work trip, as I made genuine friends out there with exceptional people and given that this small pocket of individuals have stayed firm since, I would like to imagine that they see me the very same way that I see them.
